    immunizations 20-21 school year!

    Hello SRVUSD Families,

We hope this finds everyone well.

As we approach the end of the 2019/20 school year and look ahead to the 2020/21 school year, we wanted to provide you with information regarding immunizations requirements.

As a public school district, we are required to follow California school immunization laws as outlined at Shots for Schools (https://www.shotsforschool.org/).  Even with current school dismissals due to Covid-19, immunization requirements for admission to school or child care in California for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school year remain in place. This also means that immunizations are required during distance-learning curriculum delivery.

The district nurses have been collaborating with our professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels as well as with our local pediatricians and providers.  We have been assured that most facilities are up and running and ready to see well patients in order to maintain immunization compliance.

To remain in compliance with California immunization laws and to ensure that your child is eligible to return to in-person learning once that resumes, please contact your health care provider to schedule immunizations that are needed.

    Thank you and stay safe.

    Volunteer Management System

    SRVUSD Volunteer Requirements

SRVUSD has a system for all adults who wish to volunteer on a school campus or drive/chaperone day and overnight field trips and athletic events. This Volunteer Management System features a web-based software application that allows the District and all schools to better track and provide the appropriate level of clearance for school volunteers.

ALL adult volunteers will need to go through this process. The District will NOT be asking parents to incur any of the costs associated with these clearance processes. For more information, and to begin the application process, click here for process.

Click and watch PARENT TUTORIAL VIDEO before starting the application process.
