Welcome to the San Ramon Valley Early Childhood Education Program. My name is Marissa Norris and I have been teaching primary grades since 1999.  I graduated from UC Berkeley with my bachelor’s degree and continued on to finish my master’s degree and multiple subject teaching credential. I have worked in several different districts in Northern and Southern California, but I have been working in San Ramon since 2006.

I enjoy helping kids learn so I pursue this desire by working with preschool students so they can feel confident as learners when they start elementary school. I am looking forward to an exciting year ahead full of discovery and learning with my students.

Hello, I am Mary Liddle. I teach preschool at Live Oak Elementary. I have been teaching in the district for 18 years. I have taught preschool through 5th grade. I enjoy working with students 3 to 5 years old. I create a classroom environment of learning, play, and care.

Although I enjoy working with the little ones, I have three grown daughters who have graduated and are working their dream jobs! I live locally and run into former students in the community often.

Maybe I will run into your family soon!

My name is Wai Yan (Noel) Lee. I am very excited to begin my first year of teaching at Live Oak Elementary! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development, with a minor in Special Education from San Jose State University (SJSU). I continued with my education in SJSU, which I had earned my early childhood special education credential and my Master of Arts in Special Education.

I had accumulated 4 years of experience in early childhood education. While I was an undergraduate student, I worked as a teacher assistant and as a co-teacher in local childcare centers. In addition, I was an after school program intern in a non-profit organization for 2 years, serving school-age children with special learning needs. I also had more than a year of experience being a paraprofessional in Fremont Unified School District for preschool and elementary school-age children. Within the same district, I obtained my student teaching experience in an early childhood special education classroom.

I am a patient, caring, and hard-working individual that is always open to learning new things. I look forward to being learning more about you and your child through my teaching experience here!
